Current Situation of Myanmar’s garment Sector Seminar

Current Situation of Myanmar’s garment Sector Seminar was held on 2025, June 15 at Mingalar Hall, UMFCCI Office Tower, organized by Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA).

In the seminar, Daw Khine Khine Nwe, Secretary General of UMFCCI delivered the opening remarks and then U Myint Soe, Chairman of the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association gave keynote message regarding the garment industry sector in Myanmar. After that, Daw Khine Khine Nwe presented “ILO Article 33 for CMP Business” and Senior Labour Officer of MGMA U Min Soe Han presented ” Importance of Voluntary Labour Compliance Assessment for CMP factories”.

In the Q&A session, questions from member factories answered by Daw Khine Khine Nwe and U Min Soe Han. The seminar was attended by Chairman, Secretary General, executive committee members of MGMA, KOGAM, CTGA,JGMA, representatives from MGMA’s member factories.
