About MGMA Members
MGMA is the apex business association for the Myanmar garment sector. Our membership grew by 65 companies in 2014, most of our new members are foreign-invested garment manufacturers. As of October, 2015 MGMA membership included 335 active member companies. In addition to operating more than 300 garment factories, our membership includes several design firms, commodities inspection companies, a few retail shops and a pattern-making training school.
MGMA members included in our database, are better able to connect with foreign buyers, participate and find out about regional and international exhibitions and receive privileged access to our training & advisory services. Membership costs only 50,000 Myanmar kyats per annum + an initial induction fee of 100,000 kyats.

We offer two options for membership:
Garment & textile factories and related production (both local & foreign-owned) who operate production facilities within Myanmar.
Any domestically based company involved with the sector but which is not directly engaged in factory production. Example: A local dress design company, pattern-maker, international brand or inspections firm.

Email your completed form to: firstname.lastname@example.org to apply for membership. This document should be completed by the factory manager or director (or similarly knowledgable person). If useful for you, the MGMA would be pleased to send a bi-lingual (Myanmar/English) staff-member to your company to assist in completing this application. Simply call or email our office to request this assistance.

Our International Partners
MGMA works with a variety of international partner organizations to promote the responsible and sustainable development of Myanmar’s garment sector. Among our international partners, MGMA engages closely with the European Union’s SMART Myanmar project, Pyoe Pin, CBI, the International Labour Organization, HIDA, JETRO and several others.
